Welcome to Worcester (Wuhs-ter)

(Not wor-ches-ter)

There are a number of hotels in the area - Though we do not have a specific room block set up, we encourage you to explore discounted options here:

Travel to Worcester is relatively easy, whether you're flying in or local.

For locals - It's about 45 minutes out from the Greater Boston Area by driving. There will be lots of parking available, but we encourage you to carpool, or have a designated driver for the evening.

The Framingham/Worcester Line on the commuter rail will also take you to Worcester, but you'll need to uber/lyft from the train station to the art museum.

The last train leaves Worcester at 11:25pm.

You can view the Framingham/Worcester Line timetable, here: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Worcester/timetable

Coming in from out of town -

While Boston Logan Airport will be the easiest airport to arrive to, you'll then need to either rent a car, uber, or catch the commuter rail out to Worcester.

My recommendation is taking the commuter rail after your flight, if you are staying in a hotel near the venue.

The best time to travel via the commuter rail is during mid-day, to avoid the morning and evening work rush.

From the airport, you can take two routes via public transit to South Station (where you'll catch the commuter rail train to Worcester).

1) Take the shuttle service to the blue line Airport stop, and take the train inbound to Bowdoin - Once on the subway, change trains at Downtown Crossing to the red line. Follow signs for the red line, outbound to Braintree/Mattapan. You can take either train one stop to South Station.

2) Take the silver line service (a bus route) to South Station.

Once at South Station, follow sings for the Commuter Rail station, which will be above ground. You can buy tickets for the commuter rail on the MBTA app or at the station.

You can also uber/lyft to South Station to catch the train to Worcester. Again, for information on the Framingham/Worcester line, use this link: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Worcester/timetable
